Nature of the service
ARVENS is a technical tool for constituting digital evidence (time-stamped digital NDA, named audit, HMAC time-stamped PDF report). ARVENS is not a law firm, not a notary office, and does not provide legal services within the meaning of French law n° 71-1130 of December 31, 1971. The evidence generated by the platform constitutes simple evidence within the meaning of article 1366 of the French Civil Code. Its probative force is assessed sovereignly by the judge. Resorting to a legal professional to interpret this evidence in proceedings is the sole responsibility of the client. For transactions requiring a qualified electronic signature within the meaning of EU regulation n° 910/2014 (eIDAS), it is recommended to resort to an accredited certifying third party.

Reporting mechanism
Pursuant to article 6.I.7 of French Act No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004, any manifestly unlawful content hosted on ARVENS may be reported to contact@arvens.app. The report must include: (i) date of the report, (ii) identity of the reporter, (iii) precise description of the content and its location (URL), (iv) legal grounds for the unlawful nature, (v) where possible, a copy of the correspondence sent to the author of the content. Abusive reports engage the civil and criminal liability of their author (art. 6.I.4 LCEN).
Intellectual property
This site, its design, source code, editorial content and the ARVENS trademark are the exclusive property of the publisher. Any reproduction, representation, modification or exploitation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation, is strictly prohibited and would constitute counterfeiting punishable under Articles L335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code. Photographs uploaded by agents remain the property of their author or rights holders. ARVENS acts solely as a secure technical host.
